Jeremiah Project

Join us this Summer as we participate with the Jeremiah Project in Romney WV to help keep our neighbors warmer, safe, healthier, and drier. This mission trip is construction oriented with a focus on projects such as wheelchair ramps, painting, deck renovation and more! A few notes below:

Who is eligible?
All students who are presently in 6th -12th grade are eligible to join us. Friends, cousins, and neighbors are welcome to join. You do not need to be a member of Mount Olivet but everyone is subject to our policies and guidelines.

How does it work?
Jeremiah Project is a group work camp format in which a multitude of churches from the surrounding region all gather together to love and serve our neighbor. Students and leaders will be blended between all the churches to create work camps.

Location
This trip is held in Romney WV about 3 hours away at the Hampshire County 4 H center. With recent renovations the Jeremiah Project facilities are cleaner, fresher, and more inviting than ever.

Middle and High School?
Jeremiah Project is now tailored to both age groups and takes very seriously the different needs of the students. All devotional time and work camp settings are separated between Middle and High School students. Middle School students will also rotate day by day between job sites while High School students will stay at the same job site throughout the week.

Registration
You can sign up right now using this registration link. The cost of registration for Jeremiah Project has gradually increased since Covid-19 to compensate for increased administrative needs as well as general increases on construction materials. The cost for a single registration for this year is $400 to help maintain a healthy fund for the use and growth of Mount Olivet Missions. Single families who register more than 1 youth have a cap of $750. Mount Olivet will ensure all students who wish to attend have the financial means to attend. Please do not hesitate to contact Sam Riedel or any of the Pastors.
