The Way is an alternative worship experience in Arlington, VA seeking to build community through authentic worship. We allow room for laughter, mistakes, wiggly children, and all the joy and sorrow we brought with us from the week. Communion is served after the message and all are invited to participate, no matter your faith background.
Led by Pastor Jeff Goodman, you're invited to “come as you are to worship” and join our amazing band in a more modern, emergent time of worship. You’ll hear music ranging from Hillsong to The Eagles and everything in between. We've curated a playlist of our favorite songs to worship to on Sunday mornings — it's a great way to get familiar with new songs and set your heart on Jesus.
The Mount Olivet nursery is available from 9:15 AM to 12:15 PM for infants through age 3. The nursery is staffed by caring professionals who are fully vaccinated against covid-19. Parents will receive a pager so we can notify you during the service if needed. Learn more.
Children ages 3 to Grade 5 are invited down to the stage during the Children's Message. After, they can go to Children's Church where they will have their own worship experience. Children are brought back to the service to receive Communion with their family.
Due to the recent fire, many portions of the building and certain entrances are closed. For your safety, please enter the building using the double glass doors on Glebe Road and be mindful of closed doors and partitions once inside the building. An ADA chair lift is located at the Sanctuary entrance and our ushers will be happy to assist you. Bathrooms are located in the lobby areas outside of the Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall.
The main parking lot is located off Glebe Road. There is a walkway that leads to the 16th St. entrance from the parking lot.
