Appalachia Service Project
It is time for us to register for next summer’s mission trip. We will be working with Appalachia Service Project for the third summer in a row. Right now, we are looking for a headcount to help us register by the organization’s deadlines and to help our chances of securing the work and project site of our choosing. Appalachia Service Project sends groups where they need the support and based on the projects they have during the summer season. Signing up on our sign-up genius list is not a permanent commitment. As of right now, we have zero signups.
Dates: July 11-16, 2027 (leaving Friday after chores and workday)
We will be opening a shorter trip option for folks who cannot commit to the full work week but would still like to contribute to the work week.
Dates: July 11-14, 2027 (leaving Wednesday morning after daily chores)
If you or your child has never been on a Mount Olivet mission trip, the shorter trip is a lovely entry point. It’s 2 full workdays and 2 travel days.
The deadline for the 2027 youth ministry mission trip with Appalachia Service Project is October 30, 2026. If any adult or youth is interested in serving, please be sure to sign up at the link. The cost is $375 per volunteer (youth or adult). If you need any support with the fee, please contact Evan. 2027 Appalachia Mission Trip Sign-Up
