A Joy to Serve

The 12 members of your Witness and Welcome team have worked joyfully this year to help both members and visitors experience the love of God through the activities of a warm and welcoming faith community.

Some of the team highlights this year have been:

• 15 volunteers serving each month to bring you upstairs coffee fellowship.

• 20 volunteers serving each month to bring you The Way hospitality downstairs

• 21 volunteers greeting you monthly outside the doors to our church on Sunday morning for both services

• 23 participants attending Discover Mount Olivet classes

• 12 new members joining Mount Olivet

• 12 formerly active members contacted with friendly greeting and assurances that they are missed

• 253 name tags made so we can greet each other by name on Sunday morning

• 40 families provided with BBQ dinner at the September back to church picnic

• 75 cups of hot chocolate served on the cold night of the Live Nativity

• 100 participants provided lunch at the RISE food packing event co-hosted with the Outreach Team where thousands of boxes of food were packed for Africa.
