Update: Pastor Lauren Geraghty No Longer Appointed to MTO

Several weeks ago, we announced that Pastor Teer will be leaving us to join Walker Chapel as their Senior Pastor. At that time, we also announced that Lauren Geraghty would be joining us as our new associate pastor.

In this appointment season of the United Methodist Church, when the cabinet (District Superintendents and the Bishop) are meeting and still making decisions, none of these decisions are set until Annual Conference in June.

Because this is an unusual year, in part because of other churches making decisions about disaffiliation, it has presented more chaos to our system, so, Lauren, in fact, will not be joining us and because it’s late in the season we are not projected to receive a full-time associate.

Beginning July 1, Pastor Sara and Pastor Jeff will be the clergy team - Pastor Jeff will remain quarter-time. This will mean a lot of adjustments and changes. We know that we will have your support and that you will step up and help us to be in ministry together.
