On this night we commemorate the supper Jesus shared with his disciples before his crucifixion, when Jesus washed the disciples' feet and instituted the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper. You will experience the fading of light in the Sanctuary until the service ends in darkness — a tangible reminder of the darkness leading us to Easter.
